The 22-year-old defensive midfielder has been able to establish himself as one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe, with European giants like Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid being known to be interested in signing the French young talent.
However, according to Caughtoffside, Real Madrid has reportedly stepped up their interest in the Frenchman and they are ready to make a bid above €80million to land the signature of the Liverpool midfield transfer target.
Tchouameni could be a replacement for Wiljnaldum, whom Liverpool are yet to find a replacement for since his move to PSG.
The 22-year-old has been able to feature in 95 games across all competitions for Monaco and has found the back of the net 8 times and assisted with 7.
