With only a few days left in the summer transfer window, it seems unlikely that Real Madrid will bring in another striker, unless they decide to pull a last-minute surprise. But they are looking at another Frenchman.

Marca says that Real Madrid has been keeping an eye on Nice’s Amine Gouiri, who they think could be Benzema’s long-term replacement. But L’Equipe says that Juventus and a few other teams are interested in him.

Gouiri is only 22 years old, but he already has some experience and has done well in his last two seasons, both in France and in other parts of Europe.

So, Gouiri is definitely a player to keep an eye on. If he develops the way everyone thinks he will, he could end up being Benzema’s long-term replacement on the French national team.
