Despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence on the pitch, Manchester United played out a goalless first half with Rayo Vallecano.
Ahmad Diallo entered the match in Cristiano Ronaldo’s stead at the start of the second half, and gave Manchester United the lead in the 48th minute.
However, Manchester United’s joy was short-lived, as Alvaro Garcia scored the leveller for the visitors in the 57th minute.
