The Chelsea forward was ruled out for offside by VAR while Rashford had his own approved as onside.
Chelsea started today’s game well as they dominated and their clear chance was when Ruben Loftus-Cheek played a through ball to Havertz which resulted in a penalty.
VAR overturned the situation and awarded a free kick to Leicester City because Havertz was found to be offside in the build-up.
However, a replica of the same incident which involved Rashford against Liverpool last Monday was given by VAR.
Because several replays show that a Liverpool defender had his arm stretched which was why the Man United forward wasn’t offside as he scored the second goal of the game which ended 2-1 in Man United’s favor.
More so, the same thing happened with Havertz today as a Leicester defender also had his arm stretched which means that the German shouldn’t be ruled out as offside. But VAR chose otherwise.
