5. Anthony Gordon – (From Everton To Newcastle For £45m + £5m add-on).

Anthony Gordon’s move from Everton to Newcastle this winter takes the no 5 spots on this section of the list. In all fairness, it’s a decent deal for both teams if you look at the profile of the player and his age but then if the money spent and form are brought into the conversation, it won’t look all that good for Newcastle.

Gordon is not on form and has found his place in the Everton team taken by someone else, if he can’t make the Everton starting lineup with the quality of players they have, it’s difficult to see him making the Newcastle lineup which has far better quality players than Everton’s. A £45m+ bench warmer? That’s more money wasted than well spent.

4. Memphis Depay.

The former Barcelona star joined Atletico Madrid for €3m this January. It was a good move for him and for that money, Atletico Madrid is getting a very experienced player. But what about his form? Depay hasn’t been at his best since his move to Barcelona and from all indications, he might not return to his best in Madrid.

3. Paul Onuachu.

The Nigerian international joined Southampton on a 3-and-a-half-year deal from Genk for around £20m. Onuachu has scored over 75 goals in just 113 appearances for Genk but it remains to be seen how he will adapt to living in England. That’s a big step and for now, he will remain on this side of the list.

2. Noni Madueke.

He joined Chelsea from PSV for a few that could reach £30m. The England U21 star is an explosive winger, who is very good in 1v1 situations. But the con in this deal is his injury record.

Madueke has yet to start 7 consecutive games for PSV and play all 90 minutes. So it’s quite a surprise that Chelsea will go for a player with that injury history given their injury crisis this season.

1. Jakub Kiwior.

He joined Arsenal for €25m from Spezia and it remains to be seen what part he will play for Arsenal in their title hunt this season.

Make no mistake, Kiwior is a talented player but at the young age of 22, is Arsenal the best career move? Is he willing to play second fiddle to Saliba and Gabriel for the next few years? Those are the questions he should answer himself.

Best Transfers.

5. Wout Weghorst.

This is a player transfer that is being laughed at by rival fans but if anyone knew how well Ten Hag will utilize a target man like Weghorst, they’d be worried for the other teams in the league.

Ten Hag’s team is devastating on the counter-attack and if Weghorst clicks, they’d be more dangerous because his hold-up play will give the likes of Rashford and Sancho spaces to run into. And he joined them on loan so there’s zero risk in this transfer for United.

4. Jorginho.

Say whatever you like, and Arteta will turn Jorginho into an absolute weapon at Arsenal. He joined Arsenal from direct rivals Chelsea for a few that could reach £15m.

Despite not being as physically imposing in midfield as Partey, Jorginho is without a doubt the most intelligent deep-lying playmaker in the premier league, and I am not exaggerating.

His awareness is unmatched (maybe Rodri is at that level) and his ability to play out of a high press is wonderful to watch.

In all truth, Arsenal fans will enjoy Jorginho and don’t be surprised if he becomes a regular starter at the club.

3. João Felix.

For Chelsea, Felix will be a joy to watch. He joined on loan from Atletico Madrid and Chelsea fans are already praying he gets a permanent move to the club.

Speaking of his skills, Felix is one of the best dribblers in world football, his first touch is class and his creativity is on a high level. He will remind Chelsea fans of Eden Hazard a lot.

2. Mykhailo Mudryk.

Another Chelsea player on our list. Mudryk was in the middle of a tug-of-war between Arsenal and Chelsea this summer but unfortunately for the Gunners, Chelsea’s financial firepower proved to be too much.

Chelsea signed him for a few that could reach €100m. While Felix will remind Chelsea fans of Eden Hazard, Mudryk is nothing like Hazard.

The Ukrainian has a pace that could rival Mbappe (yes, you heard it here first) and quick feet that would leave any defender trembling in his wake. Playing a high line against Chelsea now will not be a good idea, because, with Mudryk and the man who is in the first spot on this list, Chelsea’s counterattacks will be devastating.

1. Enzo Fernandez.

The world’s most sort after midfielder has finally joined the Chelsea football club for €120m this January. What makes Enzo special is that he is probably the most complete midfielder in world football, yes I said that.

His passing range is near if not as good as Tony Kroos’s, he can take shots from distance, has good set-piece deli, very and is strong in the tackle, and he lacks nothing.

At the age of 21, Enzo has risen to the pinnacle of world football and it’s not too difficult to see why. The combination of Enzo Fernandez and Mudryk will not be good for Chelsea’s opponents because of the damage those two alone can cause. Not to mention Felix who on his day can dominate a team singlehandedly. Chelsea has done a very good job this window and it’s congratulations to them.
