Nairobi – ODM leader Raila Odinga’s harsh attack on President William Ruto’s administration has elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans.
Speaking in Embakasi South, the ODM leader called out the Kenya Kwanza government leadership over what he termed as incompetence.
Raila bashed the current cabinet secretaries, saying they were not fit to hold the positions they were occupying.
He named some CSs whom he claimed had performed dismally and failed Kenyans. He argued Azimio would have done better had Kenyans given them a chance to lead.
Raila’s unexpected criticism of Ruto’s administration attracted responses from Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders and supporters.
Some asked the president to reconsider supporting the former prime minister in the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship position.
Meanwhile, those supporting Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party said the government cannot use the AUC seat to silence the opposition leader.

Meanwhile, the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party leader intensified lobbying and campaigns for his bid for the AUC chairman seat.
The ODM leader hosted US Ambassador to Kenya Meg Whitman at his residence, adding that they discussed a myriad of issues.
