The summer transfer for Chelsea to acquire Kalidou Koulibaly, a defender now playing for Napoli, is nearing completion. The two clubs have struck an agreement to sign the Senegalese national team player, and it is expected that he will make his debut for Chelsea within the next few days.
Koulibaly will be the favorite to partner with Thiago Silva next season despite the fact that Chelsea is very likely to sign Nathan Ake, the center back from Manchester City, in the next few days. This is because Koulibaly is more dependable and better than Ake.
