The Portuguese National Team led by Fernando Santos had an incredible performance in the game as they ruthlessly thrashed Switzerland 6-1 thanks to Goncalo Ramos’s hattrick and lone goals from Raphael Guerreiro, Raphael Leao, and Pepe. Portugal will be in this year’s World Cup Quarterfinals as they also have their eyes on the prestigious title.
Well, Bruno Fernandes obviously retained his usual spot in the Portuguese National Team today as he put up a stellar performance against Switzerland.
The Manchester United Midfielder controlled the attack for Portugal in the game as he provided an assist and also orchestrated some of the team’s offensive plays against Switzerland. His contributions in the game were just superb and impressive as he contributed heavily to Portugal’s victory today.
Well, I believe Bruno Fernandes’s awesome display shows he now runs the Portuguese National team, not Cristiano Ronaldo. It is obvious many football fans will see Cristiano Ronaldo as the main man in the Portuguese National Team which isn’t true.
Bruno Fernandes has taken that position away from him as he gives better performances in games for Portugal than Cristiano Ronaldo. Both players are presently not at the same level as Bruno Fernandes runs the Portuguese National Team at the moment and has played a key role in most of their wins in the World Cup this year.
