1. Shortening Sleep
Keeping the phone with you can make it hard to stop using it, leading to less sleep. If you don’t get enough sleep, your mind might stay too active, making you feel tired and less focused during the day.
2. Makes Sleeping Patterns Difficult
Even when not in use, phones emit stuff that messes with your sleep hormone called melatonin. Less sleep means feeling tired and struggling to stay awake during the day.
3. Fire Risk
Phones can get hot when charging, and if it’s under your pillow, the heat can’t escape. This might damage the phone and increase the chance of a fire. So, it’s safer not to tuck it under your pillow.
4. Weight Gain Possibility
Lack of sleep messes with hormones that control appetite. You might eat more to make up for feeling tired, leading to weight gain and other health issues.
