Graham Potter, who took over from Thomas Tuchel in September, is now under immense pressure as his side has failed to win a single match in the Premier League this year.
Although Graham Potter started brilliantly with the blues, going eight matches unbeaten, but things changed dramatically within one month.
Chelsea spent £320 million on players this January transfer window, but the arrival of these new players did not solve the problem as Chelsea continues to struggle both in the league and the champion league.
There are three players Graham Potter needs to bench if he is to change the present situation.
1. Kai Havert:
The German has been the main reason why the Blue’s have failed to score in their last three matches. Graham Potter has continued to play the German as a false nine, even though he has shown that he’s not prolific in front of goal. Kai Havertz’s has been awful this season, though he had shown brilliance in some matches.
2. Marc Cucurella :
The Spanish left back, has been the reason again for the problem Graham Potter is facing. Although the Spaniard worked together with potter in Brighton, but he has failed to replicate that relationship at Stamford bridge.
3. Ruben Loftus Cheek:
The England international has been the shadow of his former self as he has not yet adapted to the playing style of Potter, but Potter still keeps on playing the England international, maybe because they’re from the same country.
