A look at most of the signings that’s been made since last summer goes to show that Boehly wants to lay a solid foundation for the foreseeable future by recruiting some of the best talents across Europe and South America.

And part of the new revolution Boehly is looking to bring to Chelsea should include not extending the contracts of these 3 players that will be discussed below.

Jorginho.

Since joining Chelsea in 2018, Jorginho has been one of the mainstays in the team under different managers.

2 years ago, the Italian midfielder made headlines with his consistent brilliant displays which led to Chelsea’s Champions League triumph over Man City in the final.

However, since the start of this season, the former Napoli ace has been one of the worst players in Chelsea’s team, and should be allowed to leave for free once he completes his contract this summer.

N’golo Kanté.

Kanté may be a fan favorite at Chelsea, but his recent struggles with injury is one of the reasons why Chelsea should part ways with him.

On his day, Kanté is arguably the best box-to-box midfielder in the world, but it’s now looking like he’s approaching the end of a glittering career that’s been riddled with injuries of late.

Thiago Silva.

The Brazilian will turn 39 this year, and has not been at his possible best so far this term.

Chelsea already possess much younger defenders like Koulibaly, Fofana and Badiashile, so it makes no sense to hand an ageing centre back (Silva) a new contract.
