Marcos Alonso

The left-back wants to return to Spain, but the English club will decide on his future. Barcelona benefits from the fact that he is under contract until 2023. This would be the final summer for Chelsea to recuperate part of their Marcos Alonso investment.

Cesar Azpilicueta

The former owners of Chelsea had promised the Navarrese footballer that he could go for free, but his contract was automatically renewed due to a condition in it. The new owners are not ready to let him leave for free, so we’ll have to see how far Barcelona is willing to go in that instance. His situation is a little more unusual than his current teammate Marcos Alonso’s.
