It has been five years since the Blues last won the English Premier League title during the 2016/17 season under Italian manager Antonio Conte. Since then the team has been struggling for years and has lost some top players who were flourishing at the Bridge.

The club has brought in some big names in recent years but they still have failed to perform better in the Premier League despite winning the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League trophy.

However, Belgium winger Eden Hazard was the most important player for Chelsea when he was at the Bridge. He used to score goals provide assists, win matches, and trophies for the team something no other player has managed to achieve after he left in 2019.

He scored 110 goals for the Blues after playing 352 games for them and won the side 6 trophies. Hazard was an astonishing forward for the defenders and it was difficult to stop him even for the best players in Europe.

The star has never been replaced by Chelsea’s after he joined Real Madrid in 2019 no player has ever become his perfect replacement. The side has brought some top players like Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic, and Kai Havertz.

These players have been struggling at the club and they have not been such consistent and entertaining as Hazard. They might take time to replace the star but they will finally have a player who will become a big star like Hazard.
