Deborah and her brother have been living a lonely life. Sometimes they sleep hungry due to a lack of food. They stopped going to school due to a lack of fees and food. According to the ten-year-old girl, her mother died after a short illness.
Bearly a month after, her father left home promising to return home in the evening with money to buy food but that didn’t happen. One year later he has never returned home. She goes out and asks people to help her with food and prepares it to feed her little brother.
A neighbor who became curious and wanted to know why she was begging for money and food from strangers followed her to their house and narrated what they were going through. He started providing food to the children but had to stay in their house since his house is small.
