However, I think that Manchester United should just let him go. Cristiano Ronaldo’s second return to the club was one of the biggest downfall of the club because he was treated like he was bigger than the club, even now that he didn’t join the team on tour.
He just came back a few days ago and went straight into the starting lineup, he continues to act childish when he got subbed knowing very well that his fitness was questionable. No one want to be dictated on how to run their own team by a player who feels he is bigger than the game.
No player is bigger than a club no matter how highly profiled the player is. It is high time Manchester United let go of Cristiano Ronaldo before he ‘destroys’ the club or corrupt other players mind. Manchester United must move on without CR7.
You can’t always get what you want in life. Ronaldo should understand that he is not as valuable to a team as he once were.
The tactics and the dimensions of teams these days requires pressing from attack to the back line which is a joint team work.
Ronaldo can’t guarantee that. His focus on getting goals alone will disrupt the flow of such teams.
He should see this Europa league as a new challenge that he can focus on and not be obsessed about personal achievement.
Every one know he is a great player he has nothing to prove to anyone. Just enjoy your football. Rather than than subjecting himself to embarrassment of rejection.
