Pep Guardiola also has one of the strongest football squads in the world. Pep Guardiola has strengthened his squad by the addition of Haaland, Alvarez and Phillips and is still trying to sign more players.
Pep Guardiola was interested in signing Spanish full back, Marc Cucurella from Brighton. Marc Cucurella who recently joined the premier league from La Liga performed impressively last season.
However, Manchester City has not still being able to sign Marc Cucurella, even after the player had agreed to join the team.
Chelsea’s manager, Thomas Tuchel has also been active in the transfer market. However, most of Thomas Tuchel’s target players were hijacked by Barcelona. Thomas Tuchel is currently trying to hijack Marc Cucurella deal from Manchester City.
Marc Cucurella would be important in Thomas Tuchel squad, but only if Marcos Alonso should leave the team. Marcos Alonso and Ben Chilwell are far better than Marc Cucurella.
Pep Guardiola also has full backs in his team who are more talented than Marc Cucurella, and that could be the reason why he is no longer interested in signing him. Pep Guardiola’s lack of interest in Cucurella should be a warning for Thomas Tuchel.
