The departed monarch’s body was wrapped in light blue cloth when he was taken inside his palace by some good aides. The Olubadan of Ibadan Oba Salisu Adetunji died on Sunday at the age of 93.
The Olubadan died 22 days after the death of a prominent monarch in Oyo state, the son of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi.
Oba Adetunji was crowned the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan on March 6, 2016, he was born on August 26,1928, to the family of Raji Olayiwala and Suwebat Amope Adetunji in Alusekere compound of popoyemoja in Ibadan. He was the First out of the 17 children of his Father.
He grew up learning fashion designing as a means of living before moving to Lagos.
Working as a fashion designer Adetunji move into music in 1960 when he create his own record label Baba Laje records.
