The YBNL boss and frontline act, who is currently on his United States of America Tour, announced yesterday, December 11th, 2021, that he may surprise his fans with a new song to close out the year. Interestingly, the said song, which is a freestyle, is produced by buzzing Nigerian teenage beat maker P.Prime.
Taking to his social media to hint his fans about the new music, Olamide wrote:
Before we wrap up 2021, how about i give you guys one more for the road?… myself and P.Prime did a crazy freestyle soon as i entered 9ja so you knw what it is.
The song, if dropped, will be a cap to Olamide’s incredible year after dropping his album ‘UY Scuti’ in June, a project that saw the rapper in another light as he experimented largely with Caribbean sounds.
