The Premier League team of the week is handled by England legend Alan Shearer. The former Newcastle United striker publishes a team of the week xi based on performances that impressed him in the Premier League match week.
Iwobi was a standout performer for Everton on Sunday at the Goodison as they picked up their first win of the season by beating West Ham 1-0. The former Arsenal star assisted the only goal of the game for Neal Maupay.
The Nigerian international touched the ball 76 times, more than any other Everton player and only bettered in the game by West Ham’s Vladamir Coufal who had 81 touches. He also played 46 accurate passes with an 82.1% accuracy.
Jesus featured as the striker alongside Tottenham’s Son and Manchester City Jack Grealish. Arsenal stars Granit Xhaka and William Saliba also made the team.
