Marcelo won five Champions Leagues, six La Liga championships, four Club World Cups, three European Super Cups, two Copa del Rey and five Spanish Super Cups.

Olympiacos released an official statement on their website to confirm the signing of Marcelo on a free transfer.

“Olympiacos announces the acquisition of a football legend, Marcelo, who will wear the red and white jersey,” the club confirmed.

“With Real he scored 38 goals, including one in the 2014 Champions League final against Atlético. With the Brazilian national team, which he has represented 58 times with a score of six goals, he has competed in two World Cups (2014, 2018) and won the Confederations Cup (2013). Before signing for Real Madrid he played for Fluminense.”
