The England international finished with the highest votes and scooped the award ahead of Manchester City’s Kelvin De Bruyne who had a decent September with the Reigning Champions.
The players who were also in the running were Pierre-Emile Hojberg, Jacob Ramsey, Alex Iwobi, Philip Billing, and Alex Iwobi.
The United number 10 was a deserving winner of the coveted award.
He scored twice in September, both came in the Manchester based outfit win over Mikel Arteta’s Gunners at the Threatre of Dreams.
Rashford not only played in two games, but he also contributed two assists, one of which stood out for setting up Antony in his first Premier League game for his new team against the North Londoners.
The Englishman didn’t make the Three Lions squad for their games against Italy and Germany, which was surprising, considering how improved he was in recent games for United.
The player will feel more confident after winning POTM award, which will only encourage him to work harder to earn a place in the Gareth Southgate’s squad traveling to Qatar for the World Cup.
Fans will be hopeful that Rashford will be available for the 20-time English Champions as they square off against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at Etihad, which is expected to be Erik ten Hag’s most difficult test since he was appointed as the head coach.
