However, Chelsea have now beaten Arsenal to the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk who has been Arsenals top target. Chelsea were able to meet the Ukrainian club €100m asking price. He signed a eight and half year deal with the blues.
After making the signing, the player said, “I’m happy to sign for Chelsea,’
‘This is a huge club, in a fantastic league and it is a very attractive project for me at this stage of my career. I’m excited to meet my new team-mates and I’m looking forward to working and learning under Graham Potter and his staff.’
This is the second player Arsenal will be losing to Chelsea after Joao Felix agreed to join Chelsea earlier this week. Arsenal will have to turn their attention to another player just before the window shuts down.
