He further stated that before Olusegun Obasanjo became president of Nigeria in 1999, he contested the worst election in the history of Nigeria, and he did not have any right to advise the federal government of Nigeria on what to do concerning the 2023 general election, he said.
According to him, as the whole country waits for the results of the Saturday presidential election, what is expected from an elder statesman like Obasanjo is to calm the citizens of Nigeria instead of making the whole situation look as if the election has been manipulated.
During the time of Olusegun Obasanjo, he was the first to organize the worst election in the history of Nigeria today, so he should not advise us on how to run the 2023 election; he should stay away from it, he said.
