He pointed to the prolonged feud between the governor and his deputy, which has become a focal point in the state’s political discourse. According to Morka, this internal strife has overshadowed discussions on infrastructural development and innovative governance, diverting attention from crucial matters that should be at the forefront of public discourse.
“We are also aware that the PDP administration in Edo State, led by Governor Obaseki has performed very disgracefully, quite frankly. All they have done, if you open the pages of the newspaper, all you read about is the feud between the governor and his deputy, rather than innovative, developmental interventions by the government.
So we are confident that the lackluster performance by PDP in the state today will create a lot of hunger for our party to take the saddle.
