Noni Madueke made this admission while speaking to Chelsea’s official website about how quickly and excited he was to join Chelsea in January when he became aware of Chelsea’s interest in him.
According to Chelsea’s official website, Noni Madueke said: “The fact that Chelsea were the ones chasing me, the biggest club in London, was a blessing and a bonus.
I want to win trophies. I want to win big matches, the lot. We are Chelsea. This project is so exciting, so get behind it, because we have no excuse not to win in the years to come.”
London is the home of many clubs in the Premier league. There’s Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal in North London. There’s Chelsea, Fulham and Brentford in West London while there’s Crystal Palace in South London and West Ham United in Eastern London.
Despite the presence of these clubs, Noni Madueke believes that Chelsea is the biggest among the lots, and he’s right. Chelsea has won the most recent Premier League title in London.
The West London club has completed Football, having won all major titles including UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and Europa League while no other club including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs has won any European title.
