Nigerian strikers Muhamed Tijani and Godwin Saviour were on target for their teams on Sunday helping them to brilliant victories.

In Portugal, it was drama when Casa Pia traveled to Pacos Ferreira in their week 6 Primera Liga clash. Adrian Butzke opened the scoring for Pacos Ferreira in the 17th minute. But Casa Pia leveled the score in the 58th minute through Godwin Saviour, who scored his second goal of the season.

Neto put the visitors ahead two minutes later before Clayton chipped in with a third for Casa Pia in the 74th minute.

Butzke scored in stoppage time to make it 3-2, but it was too late as Casa Pia ran away with the victory.

The result leaves Casa Pia in 6th position on the table, with 11 points after six games.

Meanwhile, in the Czech Republic, it was a great day in the office for former Nigeria Under-20 striker Muhamed Tijani, as he came off the bench and scored for Ostrava in their 3-0 victory over Pardubice.

Daniel Tetour opened the scoring for Ostrava in the 32nd minute via a penalty kick. But they had to wait till the 75th minute before they got their second. And it was Tijani who got introduced into the game in the 75th minute that did the damage for them.

Nemanja Kuzmanovic then scored the final goal for the home side to seal a comfortable 3-0 win. By virtue of the win, Ostrava now sit 9th in the Czech Republic league, with nine points after eight games.
