During the clearance operation, the troops encountered numerous Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) along the way to these camps. However, their superior firepower forced the irredentists to flee with gunshot wounds into nearby forests.

The camps were found to have been used for heinous activities, including cannibalism, occult practices, and ritual killings aimed at instilling fear among law-abiding citizens. Evidence of these atrocities was discovered in the form of both fresh and old corpses found during the clearing process.

It was revealed that the homes of two spiritual leaders/herbalists (Dibias) who fled were destroyed, and the shrine of the wanted terrorist Amobi Chinoso Okafor, also known as Temple, where human sacrifices were made, was dismantled. The Joint Task Force successfully neutralized two IPOB/ESN members and arrested four criminals.

Various items that were recovered from the camps, including different denominations of Biafra currencies, a new power bike, four motorcycles, solar panels, POP cements, and a petroleum tanker suspected to have been hijacked from hardworking Igbo owners.

More information made it known that operation UDO KA II, remains committed to combating crime and criminality in line with established rules and regulations.
