Yellow Baba Arusa, the leader of the bandits who led the attack that claimed the life of Sagir was the priority target. He was wanted dead or alive. This prompted the deployment of one of the deadliest fighting unit of the Nigerian military. Special Forces units are trained to conduct a variety of high priority, low visibility missions. Able to operate independently deep behind enemy lines. The bandit Yellow Baba Arusa was killed early this week.

This special forces are well trained that they can carry out covert operations anywhere across Nigeria without being detected. Due to the security operations that are associated with Nigeria, they are hardly deployed for operations except when they are needed.
