The reigning African champions will be going into the contest off the back of their 2-0 win over Botswana in the last outing in the competition, and they will be looking for the much-needed victory over Burundi to ensure their qualifications to the next phase of the ongoing Africa Women Cup of Nations.
Burundi, on the other side, will enter the contest after their disappointing 3-1 loss to South Africa in their last game in the tournament, and they will be looking for their first victory of the competition when they square off against the Super Falcons on Sunday.

The 2022 Africa Cup of Nations game between Nigeria and Burundi will kick off at exactly 9 PM Nigerian time on Sunday, at Moulay Hassan FUS Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.
