Nigeria took the lead in the 30th minute with Onyeka scoring a decent goal from close range, and in the 45+3 minute the Super Eagles scored another to make it 3-1.
Only two Nigerian players involving Moses Simon and Onyeka stood out in the first half. Both players were solid in the first half as they did their best to make sure the Super Eagles came back in the game.
