The 23 year old football talent was instrumental yet again for his team in their 8th league game away from home against Auxerre at the Stade de l’Abbe-Deschamps, where he scored a goal which was pivotal in their massive three goals to one scoreline at full time.
His great influx of delivery so far for the Ligue 1 outfit has now made them joint league leader with 19 points alongside reigning Champion, Paris Saint Germain and Olympique Marseille.
Terem Moffi great turnaround in the current campaign as one of the deadly strikers at the attacking force is now just two goals away from equaling his league tally in the last season where he scored a total of 8 goals in 37 league appearances, having registered six so far this season in just eight games played.
With his current tally in the competition which made him apparently the top scoring Super Eagles star in Europe’s top five leagues this season, he is now only behind Paris Saint Germain’s duo of Neymar Junior and Kylian Mbappe in the race to win the French Ligue 1 Golden Boot.
As such, it means only Neymar Junior (8) and Kylian Mbappe (7) have the better ratio and have scored more goals than the young Nigerian star in the competition, as he will be hoping to keep the tempo going in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the current campaign.
