Though it’s a friendly game, Erik ten Hag would still be hoping to kick off the first fixture of his career at Manchester United with a win against United’s league rivals.
Liverpool has a reputation for being one of the best football clubs in Europe. There’s no doubt that Erik ten Hag would have to select some of Man United’s best stars to play the game and also be very tactical in choosing the style of play he wants to use against them.
Though Liverpool could prove to be tough opponents for Man United, the Red Devils have enough quality to win the game. Ten Hag could make use of a 4-2-3-1 tactical lineup in his selection against them.
United’s attack could feature Bruno, Sancho, and Rashford with Martial leading them, and a midfield pairing of Donny and Fred, with Shaw, Maguire, Varane, and Dalot in defense, with De Gea at the goalpost.
