A 24-year-old lady, Chiwetalu Charity, has recently been interviewed by BBC News regarding how she has been coping as a disabled woman (without legs) while still attending university. According to her, she will never see herself as less of a human being, and that is why she will not succumb to any man who is ashamed of her in public. She made it clear that her disability does not limit her from doing what other people do, so she hates when people pity her.

She lamented that the last guy she dated told her that when he steps out with her, people mock him because it looks like he is with a little girl. So, instead of relationships now, she is focused on making herself happy by creating content on TikTok in her room and interacting with the few genuine friends she has.

She lost her legs when she was born because, according to her mother, there were no veins in her legs, and they were getting rotten, so they were amputated.
