Morocco went into their second game of the tournament after a goalless draw with Croatia with a positive mindset of winning, knowing it would keep their dreams of getting through to the knockout stages well and truly alive.

However, on Sunday, Bono and the other 10 starters from the first game were named to the starting lineup to face Belgium.

He came out with his teammates and sang the national anthem with his teammates before the kickoff. However, by the time the team gathered to take their squad photo, Bono was no longer around.

Instead, backup goalkeeper Munir was standing alongside the rest of the team and took his place in the starting lineup as the game started.

Bono, who was not quite looking well before the kickoff, asked to be substituted, and he was then replaced by Munir.
