Chelsea see swap deal for top transfer target rejected
RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol has become Chelsea’s new No.1 transfer target. Manager Thomas Tuchel is ‘in love’ with the 20-year-old Croatian, who is under contract until 2026.
Chelsea attempted to entice Leipzig into a swap deal involving former star striker Timo Werner. The German giants, however, rejected the proposal. Their stance is clear, they don’t want to sell Gvardiol.

Man Utd set to intensify search for a new striker
Manchester United are expected to intensify their search for a new striker this week.
Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic is the man on the club’s radar. The 25-year-old Austrian scored 21 goals in 33 appearances in the Bundesliga last season. He has reportedly caught the eye of Bayern Munich as well.
RB Salzburg’s 19-year-old star Benjamin Sesko is another striker on manager Erik ten Hag’s shortlist. Ajax’s £80 million asking price, meanwhile, makes a deal for Antony complicated.
The De Jong-Chelsea saga takes a new twist
Chelsea will make an offer for Frenkie de Jong if the midfielder leaves Barcelona this summer.
Barca want at least €80 million for De Jong and already have a guaranteed offer in that region from Manchester United. Should the Dutchman’s transfer go through, they’ll turn their attention to Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.
Roberto Firmino won’t leave Liverpool

Pjanic intends to stay at Barcelona
Despite reported transfer interest from several Serie A clubs, Miralem Pjanic wants to stay at Barcelona.
The 32-year-old midfielder spent last season on loan at Turkish club Besiktas. He is still under contract at Camp Nou until next summer. Juventus, Napoli, and Lazio are all reportedly interested.
