The Egypt international scored his 129th top-flight goal for the Reds against Manchester United on Sunday, taking him to the summit as the club’s most prolific player in the division.

Mo Salah bagged a brace in Liverpool’s sensational 7-0 win over Manchester United to break a club record for most goals scored in the Premier League.

Salah had started the game one goal behind Anfield legend Robbie Fowler, who scored 128 times in 266 EPL appearances for the Reds between 1993 and 2007.

Mohamed Salah wrote his name in the Liverpool history books on Sunday, becoming the club’s all-time leading goalscorer in the Premier League.

Salah, who signed from Roma in 2017, surpassed the 128 goals scored by the legendary Robbie Fowler. With his aforementioned brace, the former Basel prodigy took his tally to 129 Premier League strikes.

Salah moved ahead of Robbie Fowler, who plundered 128 Premier League goals across his two spells at Anfield, with Steven Gerrard (120) in third place.

Michael Owen remains in fourth position on the list having netted 118 times in the league, while Sadio Mane’s tally of 90 sits him fifth.

However, it is the first time since 1908 that three Liverpool players have scored at least two goals each in a single game against United.
