The Japanese international scored a rocket goal for Liverpool to tie the game before Joel Matip scored the winner in the second half.
Minamino now has a total of 11 goals and one assist for the season in a total of 24 appearances (only nine starts).
For comparison, Manchester City’s £100m signing Jack Grealish has six goals and five assists this season in 36 appearances this season (31 starts).
This has been a wonderful season for Minamino in his limited playing time and we can only applaud the forward for his important goals.
