At the beginning of the season, the red devils had a string of unfavorable results, but they got back on track with a victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Michael Owen, a former player for Manchester United, has commented on the controversy that has surrounded United captain Harry Maguire.

The English national has not played in either of Manchester United’s most recent games since the team’s defense has been so strong.

Varane and Lisandro Martinez have thoroughly adapted into their roles as center backs, allowing only one goal when playing against Liverpool and keeping a clean sheet while playing against Southampton.

Owen said that it would likely be a difficult task for Maguire to displace either Varane or Martinez from their positions on the squad. The acquisition of Casemiro as a defender for the central defenders might provide the United captain with further challenges.

Because Harry is such an important cog in England’s national team, the possibility that he may be loaned away presents a challenge for the captain of United.

However, due to the fact that two other center backs are now performing to the requisite standards, the star could have problems finding playing time this season.
