Constantine the Great was born in Serbia in 272 AD. After his father’s passing, he was crowned Emperor. He initially followed pagan beliefs but later converted to Christianity and distanced himself from other faiths.
He aligned with both the Catholic and Orthodox churches and promoted sun worship. He put an end to the persecution of Christians and encouraged the construction of churches throughout the empire.
Constantine changed the Sabbath by mandating that the Eucharist be celebrated on a corporate day of worship, which became Sunday.
He argued that the Sabbath should be observed daily and that strict Mosaic laws, such as male circumcision and animal sacrifices before the time of Moses and the Israelites, were not necessary.
