What Are The Reasons?
1. Viral infections such as herpes Simplex Virus type 1 is a widespread virus that causes cold sores to develop in the lips. Cold sores caused by the herpes Simplex Virus is often painful, swollen and may be filled with fluid.
2. Sunburn – this is another factor that can cause blisters to appear in the lips. Ultraviolet rays can cause blisters if the sunburn is severe. It is regarded as one of the common causes of lip blisters.
3. Oral Cancer – though this is quite rare, oral cancer can also cause Blisters to appear on a person’s lips. Oral cancer blisters may still look like normal blisters but they don’t seem to heal even after being treated.
4. Canker sores – this has to do with formation of round sores on the lips. They are referred to as canker sores and doctors have not even been able to discover what causes canker sores, so there is no actual way of pinpointing the cause. But they are usually nothing to worry about.
