Just as expected, PSG dominated possession in the opening minutes of the game and looked more threatening in the final third. It took PSG just five minutes to grab the lead Mbappe found the back of the net with a sublime strike.
Things got even better before the half-hour mark as the French forward doubled the lead for the home side. Juventus reduced the deficit in the 53rd minute thanks to McKennie’s strike.
However, McKennie wouldn’t have gotten the opportunity to score a goal if Kylian Mbappe had finished off his chance at the other end of the pitch.
The attacker had the opportunity to set up Neymar for PSG’s third goal, but he decided to hit the target by himself. His effort was saved by Szczesny before McKennie found the back of the net at the other end.
Mbappe’s selfishness towards Neymar affected the result because Paris St. Germain would have been 3-0 up if he decided to set up Neymar in the 50th minute.
