Speaking at his presentation, he said he had many opportunities but did not hesitate at all when Real Madrid called him. He said he spoke with Benzema and Camavinga and they encouraged him to join.
“I talked to Benzema and Camavinga. Karim is the best striker in the world and I’m happy to play with him. Karim texted me and told me he would have helped me.”
PSG was also intrested in the young midfielder. According to him, Mbappe talked to him about joining Paris but Real Madrid as always been his first choice. “Kylian Mbappé spoke to me, and asked me if I could come to Paris but I told him I want to join Real Madrid, my choice was always Madrid – he understood my decision, he’s happy for me”.
