While the management of Chelsea Football Club has argued that the sack of the forty-nine (49) years old German coach, Thomas Tuchel, was in the best interest of the club, Mark Goldbridge, purportedly reminiscing on Thomas Tuchel’s sacrifice for the club during the days of the United Kingdom sanctions that led to Roman Abramovich selling the club to Todd Boehly, asserted that Todd Boehly has been going behind Thomas Tuchel’s back all the while.

As Mark Goldbridge revealed, Thomas Tuchel, while Chelsea Football Club was facing the brunt of the United Kingdom’s sanction on Roman Abramovich over allegations of his involvement in the Russian Ukraine war, amongst others, turned down an opportunity to become Manchester United coach, who was in the hunt for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s replacement.

Therefore, reacting to Thomas Tuchel’s sack, after the forty-nine (49) years old German released his appreciation post to the club’s supporters, Mark Goldbridge said, “feel bad for Tuchel. Clearly, the new owner had been ‘going’ behind his back for a while.

Makes it harder on Tuchel when he had offers back in March but stayed loyal. There’s no loyalty in football.”
