Despite the Glazers’ ambitions to sell United, The Sun reports that Erik Ten Hag has been given “huge cash” to restore the club. Besides Ramos, the coach has set on Cody Gakpo, a 23-year-old forward for PSV Eindhoven who is valued at £60 million, and Christian Pulisic, a 24-year-old forward for Chelsea.
In other news, The Times reports that Old Trafford and Liverpool are in the running to sign striker Youssoufa Moukoko from Borussia Dortmund. This puts Chelsea in the position of having to compete with these two clubs.
The publication notes that they will, however, have to demonstrate to the 18-year-old that he will not be relegated to the bench to win his confidence.
According to the Daily Mirror, Tottenham is one of a handful of teams that are mulling over a move for Brighton and Argentina midfielder Alexis Mac Allister. Mac Allister currently plays for Brighton.
The Seagulls’ management took notice of the 23-year-old player during the first half of the Premier League season, and his strong play helped earn him a spot on his national team to compete in the World Cup.
