So far, despite no major additions to the squad, Manchester United seem to have good squad depth ahead of 2022/2023. Their recent performances against Liverpool in their club friendly show their progress and many more good results are expected.
In the goalkeeping area, Manchester United have De Gea and Tom Heaton.
In the defense, they have the following players: Victor Lindelof, Rafael Verane, Harry Maguire, and Eric Bailly, who are centre backs. While Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are the main right-backs in the squad, the latest club signing, Tyrell Malacia, will act as a back-up for Luke Shaw at left-back.
In the midfield, they have central defensive midfielders Scott McTominay, Garner, Donny Van De, and Fred, as well as playmaker Bruno Fernandes as an attacking midfielder.
Manchester United wingers for next season are Jadon Sancho, Amad Dialo, Marcus Rashford, and Garnacho. Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Martial are the main centre forwards.
