The latest report states that personal terms not being an issue for either party.
According to the Telegraph, Manchester United are preparing to make a £50 million bid for Mount this month, feeling it is a reasonable valuation for a player with only one year left on his Chelsea contract with the Blues out of European competition next season.
The West London club is also eager to generate revenue by June 30 in order to alleviate Financial Fair Play concerns after spending heavily in the first two transfer windows under new owner Todd Boehly.
Following their meeting in the penultimate Premier League game for both sides, Chelsea and Manchester United began talks.
Mount’s future at Chelsea was also debated on Sky Sports ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, with Ben Chilwell apparently stating that his Chelsea colleague was headed to Old Trafford.
When asked about the incident, Mount avoided answering, instead focusing on his excitement for the following race, which was won by Max Verstappen.
