The 23-year-old Netherlands International, who gained promotion to the PSV Eindhoven first-team squad in 2018 has been an important member of the team over the previous seasons.
The young left-winger has been a force to reckon with so far this 2022/2023 season, having already scored 16 goals and created 18 assists in the 30 matches he has played.
His impressive performances in front of goal is believed to have caught the attention of Manchester United and according to reports from The Sun, the Red Devils are keen on signing him.
The reports further claimed that Manchester United are really interested in the young Cody Gakpo and are now leading the race to sign the winger from PSV Eindhoven next year.
It is believed that Manchester United are on the lookout for an ideal replacement for the departed Cristiano Ronaldo and have identified Cody Gakpo as a needed addition to the team.
But then, it remains to be seen if Manchester United football club wil be capable of paying the needed transfer fee in order to complete the signing of Cody Gakpo when the transfer window opens.
