Ten Hag needs to drop these two players because they have not been instrumental to the club in terms of their recent performances. Since Onana joined the club, he has found it difficult to make saves as most of the shots that he has faced have gone into the back of the net, and the club has not even enjoyed his ball-playing ability, which was one of the reasons why they signed him.
Rashford, on the other hand, has been indecisive in front of goal this season for the club. The winger is short on confidence, and he has not found that connection with Rasmus Hojlund.
