In the summer of this year, United hired Erik ten Hag to replace interim manager Ralf Rangnick, who left Manchester rather quickly. And the Dutchman, who has already signed Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord, is expected to add a host of other talents before the start of the new season.

United has been keeping an eye on Eriksen throughout summer as Ten Hag wants to increase his inventiveness in the center of the field. And the player’s arrival announcement might be coming soon.

The international player from Denmark has reportedly passed a comprehensive medical with the Red Devils and verbally accepted the three-year contract, according to ESPN. United is also optimistic that the former Tottenham player will be able to travel to Australia to join his new teammates.

Eriksen, who has made 237 Premier League appearances while playing for Tottenham and Brentford, will give United’s team some much-needed experience. When the 30-year-old joined Spurs from Ajax in 2013, he initially relocated to England. But after six and a half years, he moved away from north London and joined Inter Milan.

Eriksen experienced a heart episode while competing for his nation at Euro 2020 last summer. After that, he underwent implantable cardioverter defibrillator surgery, which banned him from participating in Serie A. As a result, Inter released him, and in January, Brentford brought him back to the Premier League.

The 115-cap creative genius showed he still had what it takes to be successful at the pinnacle of the game by making 11 appearances for Thomas Frank’s club in the second half of the season. And Ten Hag will undoubtedly lick his lips in anticipation of witnessing the star perform at Old Trafford.
