It is understood that United will sign Dubravka on loan with buy option.
The move is expected to be completed in the not-so-distant future after some of the details pertaining to the contract are ironed out.
Dubravka had fallen out of favour at Newcastle with new signing Nick Pope being preferred in goal by manager Eddie Howe.
And when the opportunity to become David De Gea’s back up presented itself, Dubravka pleaded with Newcastle to allow him to leave, a plea that has since been agreed to.
The Slovakian joined Newcastle in 2018 from Czech Republic 1 Liga side Sparta Prague, and he made 130 appearances for the Magpies.
Man United have been extremely busy in recent days, they have reportedly reached an agreement with Dutch giants Ajax to sign winger Antony, and it does seem by the time the transfer window slams shut on 1 September, they would have completed all of their transfer business, which will be a great deal of excitement for the fans.
However, it remains to seen if talisman Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at the club beyond 1 September, there has been a lot of speculation linking him with a move away from the club as he pursues Uefa champions league football.
